PROBLEMS:

  • Client felt the interior style of the house didn’t reflect her personality or taste.
  • “Great Room” was very long— too big to cohere as one room.
  • Kitchen layout was awkward for 2 cooks.
  • Family room end of the space not conducive to a comfortable furniture layout.
  • Master Bathroom fixtures and finishes felt dated.

SOLUTIONS:

  • Diagonal wall with Pantry was added to subdivide a too-large room into two complementary areas.
  • Kitchen layout revised. New island shape accommodates multiple cooks.
  • Color scheme throughout was changed to align with the client’s taste.
